The Vision Box AGE-X6 Enters Series Production

IMAGO Technologies GmbH, a specialist in industrial embedded vision systems, announces the start of series production of the Vision Box AGE-X6. The powerful industrial PC has been specifically developed for demanding machine vision and AI applications. The platform is particularly aimed at machine builders and system integrators who want to implement different vision applications on a standardized hardware platform while flexibly adapting the required computing power to future requirements.

The Vision Box AGE-X6 is based on 14th-generation Intel® Core™ Embedded processors and features up to four USB4 interfaces, each offering data transfer rates of up to 40 Gbit/s. These interfaces enable the flexible connection of external GPUs, high-speed storage devices, or additional interfaces. As machine vision requirements increase – for example, due to higher-resolution cameras, additional inspection tasks, or the use of deep learning – computing performance can be expanded without replacing the base system. Software, cabling, and control cabinet layout can remain largely unchanged.

The Vision Box AGE-X6 is compact, fanless, and designed for industrial 24/7 operation. In addition to Windows and Linux, the industrial PC features IMAGO’s Real Time Communication Controller (RTCC) for precise synchronization of cameras, lighting, and I/Os. This makes the AGE-X6 suitable for both classical machine vision tasks and compute-intensive AI applications and multi-camera systems. The Vision Box AGE-X6 is now available as a series-production product. Further information is available on the IMAGO Technologies website.
