Specialty Coating Systems, Inc. (SCS), a global leader in Parylene and liquid conformal coating services and technologies, is proud to announce it is celebrating its 50th anniversary.
In August 1971, Nova Tran Corporation registered as a business located in the town of Clear Lake, WI. Nova Tran had received one of the first technology licenses for Parylene coating from Union Carbide Corporation (UCC) and is credited with making Parylene a commercial success. The original Nova Tran operation in Clear Lake remains one of SCS’ largest coating centers today.
