Specialist Hi-Rel component supplier Astute Electronics exhibits for first time at EDS; daily demos on EMI/ESD connector shielding

Astute Electronics, the leading supplier of electronic components and value added services, is exhibiting for the first time at the Electronic Design Show at the Ricoh Arena on 19th and 20th October.  Astute is showcasing products and engineering support services for the comprehensive range of electromechanical and semiconductor products from its franchise suppliers, including EDAC, Amphenol Industrial, Quell, Positronic and Innodisk.  Astute will also present services including anti-counterfeit mitigation, logistical solutions as well as sourcing obsolete and hard to find products.


The market leading product from Quell, EESEALS, will be demonstrated daily.  EESEALS add EMI/ESD protection to connectors and save time, space and weight compared to traditional solutions and are suitable for new designs as well as retrofitting.


Astute will be showcasing the high-quality, industrial embedded flash and DRAM storage products from Innodisk, as well as the ranges, from Amphenol Industrial, including connectors for power, signal, high speed and harsh environment applications.

Products from EDAC, RJ45 and telecom magnetic jacks, USB and  firewire, waterproof D-Sub connectors and custom cable assemblies will also be on show as well as Positronics innovative PCB interconnection technology for aerospace, defence, rail, industrial and space applications, including its Panther power connector line for high temperature, harsh environment applications.
